Our History

The history of FORGE FEDRIGA starting from the 1960s as a classic forge, up to today as an industrial reality that looks to the future.

60's

FORGE FEDRIGA started out as a small business in the Municipality of Esine, founded by Stefano Fedriga in the 1960s.

A classic forge, like many others scattered across the valley of the Grigna stream, which activated a trip hammer thanks to the use of a hydraulic wheel and the force of water. Forge Fedriga later developed with his son Tommaso who, in the mid-1960s, took over the company.

1979

In 1979, FORGE FEDRIGA became an srl company with the addition of two new members, Bortolo Canini and Giovanni Disetti.

1982

In 1982, the company transferred its forging activities to new premises in the “Prada” industrial zone in Cividate Camuno, upgrading its machinery and developing its production with new forged pieces.

90's

Things continued to evolve naturally also in the industrial field and, starting from the 1990s, even the powerful electro-pneumatic trip hammers were replaced by hydraulic presses.

Oggi

Today, the company is run by Stefano Fedriga, the grandson of the founder who shares his same name.

FORGE FEDRIGA, which currently employs over 75 people, is geared towards the international market, producing forged pieces in special steel, carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, duplex and superduplex, nickel-base superalloys, titanium and copper alloys
